Welcome to Universelle Shop. Universelle Shop-registered Buyers will be able to enjoy the rights and privileges described in these Universelle Shop Terms of Service (these “Universelle Shop Terms of Service”) when purchasing Mall Items (defined below) on Universelle Shop from any of our participating Sellers that have been carefully selected by Universelle Shop (such Sellers, “Mall Sellers,” and such Buyers, “Mall Buyers”).
If you are a Mall Buyer, you will be deemed to have consented to the terms and conditions described in these Universelle Shop Terms of Service when you make purchases on Universelle Shop. Similarly, if you are a Mall Seller, you will be deemed to have consented to the terms and conditions described in these Universelle Shop Terms of Service by your continued participation in Universelle Shop.
These Universelle Shop Terms of Service supplement the general Terms of Service and other Universelle Shop Policies, of which these terms form a part. Please read the Terms of Service and other Universelle Shop Policies available on the Site, as they contain important information regarding your rights and obligations. Any terms used in these Universelle Shop Terms of Service that are not defined here will have the meanings given to them in the general Terms of Service and/or the applicable Universelle Shop Policy. All terms and conditions described herein are subject to change at Universelle Shop’s discretion, pursuant to the general Terms of Service.
1.1 A Mall Buyer may apply for a refund and/or return of an item purchased on Universelle Shop (a “Mall Item”) by completing a return/refund request on the Site and returning the Mall Item as described below. This must be done within seven (7) calendar days after the date the Mall Item was first made available for delivery (the “Free Return Period”). Usually, this is the date the Mall Buyer receives the item; however, if the Mall Buyer does not receive the item due to absence or an incorrect address, the period begins on the date of the first delivery attempt.
1.2 Mall Buyers must ship or drop off the Mall Item at a location designated by Universelle Shop within five (5) days after the return request is raised, and no later than the last day of the Free Return Period. All Mall Items must be returned via a courier designated by Universelle Shop. Universelle Shop reserves the right to reject any application where the Mall Item was dispatched later than five (5) days after the request was initiated.
1.3 Approval for refund and return requests is made at Universelle Shop’s sole discretion after reviewing the request and inspecting the item's condition. The Mall Buyer acknowledges that Universelle Shop’s decision is final and binding. Returned items must meet the following "Return Conditions":
New and sealed condition;
Complete, with all original accessories included; and
Original product packaging and price tags intact.
1.4 Certain items are excluded from this policy ("Excluded Items"), including:
Digital goods (e.g., mobile top-ups, software, audio/video recordings);
Perishable goods (e.g., groceries);
Hygienic/health-related goods (e.g., cosmetics, swimwear, underwear).
1.5 Universelle Shop reserves the right to amend the list of Excluded Items, Return Conditions, or the length of the Free Return Period at any time.
1.6 Universelle Shop may reject a return if it is an Excluded Item, fails to meet Return Conditions, or violates shipping timelines. If rejected, Universelle Shop will organize the return delivery to the Buyer at the Buyer’s expense.
2.1 Mall Sellers will receive a written notification of their selection. Continued participation in Universelle Shop constitutes consent to these Terms of Service.
2.2 Mall Sellers warrant that Mall Items comply with all laws and site specifications and are free from defects. Sellers are responsible for any non-conformity or product recalls.
2.3 If a Mall Seller sells items prohibited under the Prohibited and Restricted Items Policy, Universelle Shop may remove the listing and issue refunds to Buyers. The Seller agrees to reimburse Universelle Shop for these refunds and related costs.
2.4 Universelle Shop’s decision to approve a refund is binding on the Mall Seller.
2.5 For approved returns, Universelle Shop will organize delivery to the Seller's designated local address at no additional cost. If the Seller fails to provide a local address or accept the delivery, Universelle Shop may dispose of the item as it sees fit.
3.1 All products listed by Mall Sellers must be 100% authentic. Counterfeit products—defined as exact imitations intended to deceive—are strictly prohibited.
3.2 Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) brands are permitted provided no official brand logos or names are used in the listing.
3.3 Sellers must provide "Proof of Authenticity" (invoices, certificates, etc.) upon request. Failure to do so will result in the Seller being required to accept the return and compensate Universelle Shop for any losses or damages to reputation.
4.1 Universelle Shop charges a Commission Fee on all successful transactions:
2%: Electronics (e.g., computers, gadgets, appliances).
3%: Fast-moving consumer goods (e.g., beauty, food, health, pets).
5%: All other product categories.
4.2 This fee is inclusive of VAT and is deducted from the Buyer’s Purchase Monies before the balance is remitted to the Seller.
5.1 This program ensures brand authenticity and product freshness for qualifying milk formula.
5.2 Buyers may apply for a return if the product is not authentic or if the expiration date is less than six (6) months from the delivery date ("Freshness Guarantee").
5.3 If the authenticity policy is breached, the Buyer is refunded 200% of the purchase price. If the Freshness Guarantee is breached, the Buyer is refunded 100%.
